A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, TO LEVY AND COLLECT ASSESSMENTS
WITHIN STREET LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. I, STREET
LIGHTING MAINTHI{ANCE DISTRICT NO. 2, STREET LIGHTING
MAINTBI{ANCE DISTRICT NO. 3, AND STREET LIGHTING MAINTENANCE
DISTRICT NO. 4, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 198~-87 PURSUANT TO THE
LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972 IN CONNECTION WITH
STREET LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICTS NOS. 1, 2, 3 AND 4
WHEREAS, the City Council of tbe City of Rancho Cucamonga did on the
21st day of May, 1986, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 86-138 to order
the therein described work in connection with Stree= Lighting Maintenance
Districts Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4 which Resolution of Inten=ion No. 86-138 was duly
and legally published in the time, form and manner as required by law, shown by
the affidavit of Publication of said Resolution of latention on file in the
office of tbe City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, said City Council having duly received considered evidence,
oral and documentary, concerning the jurisdiction facts in this proceeding and
concerning the necessity for the contemplated work and the benefits co be
derived therefrom and said City Council having now acquired jurisdiction co
order the proposed work.
SECTION 1: It is hereby' resolved by tbe City Council of ~be City of
Rancho Cucamonga chat.the public interest and convenience requires the levy and
collection of assessments within Street Ligbting Maintenance Districts Noe. 1,
2, 3, and 4 for cbe fiscal year 1986-87, and said City Council hereby orders
that the work, as set forth and described in said Resolution of Intention No.
86-138, be done and made; and
SECTION 2: Be it fortbet resolved that tbe report filed by the
Engineer is hereby finally approved; and
SECTION '3: Be it finally resolved tbac the assessments for fiscal
year 198~-87 and method of assessment in the Engineer's Report are hereby
approved.
