A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAHCHO
CUCA~IONGA, CALIFORNIA, TO LEVY AND COLLECT ASSESSMENTS
WITHIN LANDSCAPE HAIliTENANCE DISTRICT NO. I, LANDSCAPE
MAIIqT~IqANCE DISTRICT NO. 2, LANDSCAPE NAINTEIeANCE DISTRICT
NO. 3, LANDSCAPE NAIIiTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 4, AND LANDSCAPE
MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 5 FOR THE FISCAL YEAR I 986-87
PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972 IN
CONNECTION WITH LANDSCAPE HAINT[IqANCE DISTRICT NOS. 1, 2,
3,4AND5
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho CucamonEa did on the
21st day of May, 1986, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 86-139 to order
the therein described york in connection with Landscape Maintenance Districts
Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 which Resolution of Intention No. 86-139 was duly and
legally published in the time, form and manner as required by law, shown by the
affidavit of Publication of said Resolution of IntenCion on file in the office
of the City Clerk; and
WREREAS, said City Council havinE duly received considered evidence,
oral and documentary, concerning the jurisdiction facts in this proceeding and
concerning the necessity for the contemplated work and She benefits to be
derived therefrom and said City Council having no~ acquired jurisdiction to
order the proposed work.
SECTION 1: 'It is hereby resolved by the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucemonga that the public interest and convenience requires Che levy and
collection of assessments within Landscape Maintenance Districts Nos. 1, 2, 3,
4, and 5 for the fiscal year 1986-87, and said Cit~y Council hereby orders that
the work, as set forth and described in said Resolution of Intention No.
86-139, be done and made; and
SECTION 2: Be it further resolved thee the report filed by the
Engineer is hereby 'finally approved; and
SECTION 3: Be it finally resolved that the assessments for fiscal
year 1986-87 and method of assessment in the Engineer's Report are hereby
approved.
